Barnett River Crossing - WA

This river crossing is just 2km east of the Barnett River Roadhouse where the Gibb River Road crosses the Barnett River. Whilst it's a 2-lane wide concrete causeway it is more likely to be covered in 20cm of soft sand in May/June while there is still a water flow. Conditions vary throughout the year and each season brings different conditions so always approach crossings with care and drive to conditions on the day.
