Cobbold Gorge - QLD

To access the Cobbold Gorge itself you must be part of a guided tour (see weblink in the Contacts above). Cobbold Gorge is located within private property on Robin Hood Station owned by the Terry family.

You will hop into the bus for a 10 min drive from Cobbold Village crossing the Robertson River then along the treelined bank to the gorge. Walk around butterfly covered cliffs then overlook the gorge chasm below. Stroll through the savanna to Corbetts Grave then return to the cool and shady wharf. Climb into a punt propelled by a quiet electric motor so as not to scare the numerous freshwater crocs. Be impressed by the navigating ability of the skipper as she weaves between rocky overhangs. A great 3 hour adventure!
