Karumba Point Tourist Park - QLD

Karumba Point Tourist Park is one of two major caravan parks at Karumba Point. It is the first caravan park that you reach, just a few kilometres after you turn into Karumba Point Road, which becomes Col Kitching Drive at about that point.. It is on the left as you approach the township and is within reasonable walking distance of the shops and hotel at the point.

This park offers Powered & Unpowered Sites, new ensuite self-contained villas (1 with disabled access) & onsite caravans to rent. Accommodation sleeps from 1-4 persons in some with linen and towels included.

All sites have drinking water & powered sites have power & sullage points, some also have slabs. There are 2 amenities blocks with laundries & a disabled shower/toilet available on request. Pets are also welcome (with conditions - speak to reception). The park offers free WiFi, a sparkling salt water pool, a playground for the kiddies, 2 dump points, 2 camp kitchens - 1 basic & 1 containing TV's, commercial style cooking facilities, & licenced bar & beer garden.

Park activities run from June to August (conditions apply) which includes markets, bingo, bocce, craft, weekly fishing comp & fish BBQ, which includes entertainment & raffles.

Reception can assist with tour bookings for the in house fishing charter, bird & nature cruises and sunset & river cruises. Visit the brand new Barramundi Discovery Centre, just through the Karumba township and tour the facility to see the Barramundi and learn about the Gulf restocking program.
