| Topo
250K Maps iMapPlot™ - the system
that draws the maps shown in the latest ExplorOz Travel
Journal, the Trek Notes
and in PointPlace™, has just released the use of Topo 250K base map
data (previously, we used 1Meg data). In simple words, this means the
maps are now more detailed.
-
Beneath the thumbnail for each map, you
will now see 2 options: Zoom Map, and Get Map.
-
Zooming into the Map and therefore
activating the interactive iMapPlot™ system, will only be
available to Registered site users (ie. Visitor, Member or
Customer).
-
Members have been given unlimited free access to
view maps using iMapPlot™ throughout the ExplorOz website
-
Visitors have been allocated 5 free map views. Once this quota is consumed, Visitors can choose to either
become a Member to gain unlimited map views, or purchase and use
PointPlace credits. As we have previously advised, iMapPlot™ is
constantly being developed and refined. There are still further
enhancements planned for the system but we're sure you'll agree that
it's already a smart system for mapping.

alternate their advertising between the Index Pages and the Open Thread
view pages.
