WHAT DO WE DO?
If you've only recently joined ExplorOz you may not have had time to thoroughly go through the
website to see what's on offer so here's a quick summary:
PRODUCTS
From the home page of the ExplorOz website you can quickly access the webpages for each of our 3 main
products - Traveller, EOTopo, & Tracker. If you've got questions, that's where to start.
DESTINATIONS
For the past 20 years, ExplorOz has been at the forefront of providing reliable, comprehensive
destination information to suit people wanting to self-drive to areas within Australia that are not well
documented in main-stream tourism publications. Take a look at Treks to find 187 route files and
supporting trip planning information, and In Places you'll see we now have 100,000 POIs so this is much more
than just a campsite database, as we include all points of interest that you might need to use on your
journey. Both Places & Treks include EOTopo so you can zoom
into great detail (18K).
It's the ideal place to do your trip planning and we're always adding more.ARTICLES
Further down the home page you'll see a section with the heading "LEARN". Grouped into Topics
these articles are written by a range of contributing authors who are experts in
their field. The articles are very comprehensive and detailed. A great feature of our articles is that the
comments section at the bottom of each article has links to all the Forum posts that are

MEMBERSHIP
The majority of what we offer is provided free however our best features and services are reserved
for Members - ExplorOz Membership is a 12 month subscription that offers a wide
range of website feature enhancements, PLUS is the only way to activate the TRACKER feature on your device when travelling (driving, cycling, walking). The Tracker sends position data from your device
(phone, tablet, PC) whilst the app is running and you are moving so that you get data backup on our server and if
desired, to a map that can be viewed by your family/friends who might like to follow your journey.
You can choose to clear your Active Tracking map when your trip ends or save to keep a log of all your
past journeys. The map that is saved in these Track Logs can also be shared into Blogs, or on
social media such as Facebook to show where you've been.
