| Raffle Prize Winner Drawn - Congratulations to Member - marg-rich (who purchased their ticket via the online shop) and were drawn as the winners of this one of a kind artwork.
The prize draw took place at the National Gathering on Wednesday night, and all funds raised from tickets will be donated to Louth RFDS clinic. We will announce the final figure for funds raised, as well as more news from the Gathering in our newsletter next week.

| Bloomin' News - Early Nancy she is, a sure sign that spring is here. Right across the country you can find her popping up in forests and woodland, on inland sand dunes and loamy flats. She wears a short bunch of pink or white flowers, and along with a couple of shiny strap-shaped leaves that is all that makes up her small form, often only about 15cm high. What she lacks in size she makes up in numbers, as these little lily-like flowers can cover large expanses, even in grazed paddocks.
Wurmbea dioica is her rather unattractive official name; Early Nancy is much more evocative. |
