| Have you saved our WebApp to your smartphone? This is a simple version of the ExplorOz website and only contains features that you'll use on the go. One very practical feature is the ability to find a camp near your current location. Simply open Places, select Search, then activate Use Current Position. To get our WebApp, go to our Mobile Site (m.exploroz.com) from your phone and save it as a bookmark. You'll get an app-like icon on your phone to launch it.

| EOTrackMe subscribers and followers will notice that we've changed the method of viewing the daily tracking of individuals. The new system removes the list of overnight places (previously in a panel on the left). Now, the overnight stops are shown on the map with popups. Take a look!

| Simpson Desert swales, areas of NW NSW, and northern SA support thick patches of Gidgee (Acacia). It makes great firewood but it also grows very slowly so please use it wisely. It has a smell something like boiled cabbage that some find quite unpleasant. It usually flowers after good rain so its possible there could be some stands of Gidgee in flower if you are in the right area this month.
