| We reached a staggering milestone this week, reaching (and exceeding) Member Number 10,000! This is the 10,000th person to join ExplorOz as a paid member. Whilst we have around 75,000 registered site users, this is a celebration of the in-group.
ExplorOz Membership is an optional subscription that is purchased in addition to free site registration. We see Membership as the life-blood of ExplorOz and put all our energies into developing and maintaining Member site features & services. Without Members, ExplorOz could not be what it is today.
Over the year’s we’ve seen an intoxicating mix of characters join ExplorOz. Whilst some Members prefer a silent profile, rarely interacting in the Forum and not posting Blogs, Places or User Treks, there are many thousands more that have embraced the interactive lifestyle of ExplorOz. If you read these Members’ Blogs, you’ll find stories that highlight the courageous, ambitious, adaptable, and adventurous qualities that make up the unique fabric of the ExplorOz community. Each person’s experience is different, yet they’re all tied with the common thread of an enthusiasm for life.
To all the Members that have been instrumental in helping us reach this milestone, we recognise your part in our journey and thank you.

| For the first time ever, we are now providing the Route Files that compliment each of the ExplorOz Trek Notes. Available as a download from the ExplorOz Shop, you can obtain all “Route” files for the entire ExplorOz Trek Note collection - that's 182 tracks across Australia! When used in Moving Map navigation (found in various GPS Units, Software and Apps) they will provide guided navigation along a selected track.
Three buying options
(OziExplorer, Memory Map or GPX) are provided to allow you to select a compatible
format for your navigation device. Please ensure that your device allows you to import route files (and know which format you require) prior to purchase.

| National Members’ Gathering | 
| The ExplorOz National Members' Gathering 2014 will be held at Trilby Station located on the Darling River Run from the 28th of September to the 4th of October. Members can register to attend on the Gathering Page.
Campsite and cabin bookings need to be made asap - we have not made any reservations. Please contact Trilby Station (make sure to mention your member number). It’s a popular time for visitors to come to Trilby so don't miss out. Jump to it now folks!
