New Wildflowers Section

| Appreciating native flora and fauna is one of the great joys of "Exploring Oz", particularly the search for, identification and photography of Australian Wildflowers.
Based on your feedback, we have created a Wildflowers database, which displays an image, description, identification notes, location and references for plants found throughout Australia.
Wildflower enthusiasts Member - John and Val have been busy uploading records into the system to get things started, however all registered site users have access to create pages, edit existing records and upload images. So, please take the time to have a look and contribute!
Also in development is an all new Recipes Section, so please start compiling recipes and photos of your favourite camp dishes ready to share soon!

| EOZi Android is a custom interface for users of OziExplorer Android. EOZi combines an attractive and easy to use layout, simple access to OziExplorer controls and functions, and a comprehensive User Manual to ensure that you can complete trip planning and navigation tasks with ease.
ExplorOz have developed this interface and supporting documents based on feedback from our audience, and from our team's own experience using OziExplorer Android. And remember, you can use this program with EOTopo 200K mapping for an even better navigation experience.
Please note you must already have OziExplorer Android installed on your device to be able to use the EOZi interface.

Valentine's Day Facebook Photos

| Do you have a great photo of yourself and your "better half" taken at a picturesque Australian travel destination? Why not share the love this Valentine's Day with other ExplorOz'ers? Simply post the photo on the ExplorOz Facebook Page by the end of day tomorrow (5pm WST).
We will then create a composite image of all entries to use as our Facebook Cover Photo for the next week. Please note you must "like" the ExplorOz Facebook Page (if you haven't already) in order to be able to post your photo.

| Kati Thanda-Lake Eyre National Park News

| Halligan Bay Point will now be included as part of the Kati Thanda–Lake Eyre National Park thanks to a generous donation of the site from Anna Creek Station.
Halligan Bay Point is one of two camping and viewing areas for Kati Thanda-Lake Eyre, which has previously benefitted from infrastructure installed by the DENR several years ago, and the integration of the site into the national park will ensure its maintenance as a public use camp ground in future.
