Hyden Norseman RoadThe Hyden-Norseman Road is an excellent alternative to travelling the Great Eastern Highway if you wish to travel between Norseman & Perth because you'll get off the tar and away from the trucks. There is plenty to please the senses along this route - in fact it is a tourist route all unto itself, being marketed as "The Granite & Woodlands Discovery Trail".

Norseman to Balladonia Overland Telegraph Track
Follow a little known track that runs adjacent to the old telegraph line from Coolgardie to Eucla. Originally published on the ExplorOz Facebook Page, this image sparked a lively discussion on an unusual looking female camel spotted in the Great Victoria Desert. This prompted us to contact well known camel expert Chris O'Hora for an answer to the debate, read this blog for the answer.
