Forum Improvement

This week, regular ExplorOz Forum users may have noticed a small change to the Watch Thread controls. The change relates to removing items from your watch list. To find your list, simply go to My Home on the toolbar, then click the Forum Watched button. When you see your list, just click the eye symbol located alongside the thread you wish to remove. You will be prompted before final deletion so don't panic! You won't mess it up.

ExplorOz Trivia

Our latest poll asks "Should ExplorOz Create another Trivia CD?" and to support this, we published aBlog to explain why we ask this and to gather your comments. The responses have shown that it was popular, fun, and worth doing again so in order to create a new version for 2011 we are looking for a volunteer to step forward to coordinate this project. If this sounds like something you'd like to do, please contact our office and we can discuss it.

Weather Watching

When will this hot weather end? Did you know you can browse weather around the country by going to our main Weather Page (listed in the Articles menu) or if you're in the Forum you don't even need to change pages, just click the Weather tab! We receive our data via a live data feed from the Australian Bureau of Meterology and we are an authorised developer/distributor so you'll find some custom-tools to suit the needs of travellers.

Travellers Grapevine - Road Conditions

ExplorOz road conditions reports are designed to help you easily access a wide range of track data across Australia with information obtained from official sources such as Local Council, Main Roads and National Parks being the control point for the status flag of Open, Caution, Closed. But did you know that if you live, work or travel through areas listed in our reports that you too can provide updates of a more annecdotal nature to fill in the gaps where these reports lack substance? We also remind locals and officials in the area that you may request direct access to enter the official status updates - thereby gaining a live 24/7 reporting system for your area.

Simply click within the text area shown in the Comments section for any given track/road name............
