published into eBookformat for your convenience.
Not long ago we realised that we needed to publish
the content from ExplorOz into a series of books so that it was
easier for you to take on your trips and to avoid lengthy internet
sessions!

To keep the cost down and in keeping with the current trends in
the market we have converted ExplorOz into eBooks.
This means you can now read ExplorOz in a book format on your computer without
an internet connection. It also means you can print pages at your leisure in any
size without affecting the layout of graphics. We think you're going to love our series of 23 eBooks not only
for their obvious convenience but also for the price which starts at just 80
cents
up to $8, with the majority of our eBooks costing around $4. Prices
vary depending on the number of trek notes.
Proceeds from these sales assist
greatly in the ongoing maintenance of the ExplorOz website.

New Edition |
Just released and now available on ExplorOz
is a new edition of the very popular "Great
Desert Tracks" map series from Hema Maps. Originally released about 2 yrs ago as a 4 map series, the coverage of
maps has been extended to the east and is now spread across 6 maps in this
new edition of the GDT map pack. The 2 new sheets cover the Birdsville Track, Strzelecki Track, The
Oodnadatta Track and Simpson Desert plus the original 4 maps have been
totally revised. | also on CD 
| In response to consumer demand for digital mapping, the Great
Desert Tracks Map Pack is also available on CD. The ExplorOz team conducted beta testing of the CD during June-August
this year and it has just been released to the public. As stated in our

notes, we really enjoyed travelling with this map product as it combined
very accurate 1:250,000 scale maps with camp locations and other points of
