The famous Pyrenees Gathering is on again this year and BACK TO THE ORIGINAL DATE, that is, the weekend after Melbourne Cup. This year we aim to have the famous Long Dinner again on the Saturday night (will confirm at later date as soon as eyebrows have regrown after last years experience!) as well as the infamous Trivia Quiz, which last year was far too tough, but golly didn't that bring a smile to the face of Mrs JohnR!
The weekend is held in the Pyrenees in Centre Vic, at the Glenpatrick Reserve approx 8km north of Elmhurst, which is on the Pyrenees Hwy between Avoca and Ararat. Come along early if you like, the weather is guaranteed!
This is a great relaxing weekend where you can sit around and do nothing or come for a drive on the Saturday or wait around camp and just relax.
The theme for the dinner this year is Black. Wear a black hat, black jacket black eyeliner (thats for you JohnR) or black undies, as long as they are worn on the outside like Superman and Superwoman!
There will be a special challenge for the kids to win all kinds of glittery fun. Glow sticks are allowed for Saturday night too. Some will be supplied by management for Adults who wish to partake in the festivities. Mystical Fire may make another visit to the Saturday night campfire too.
We are also hoping for the inaugural attendance of Mrs Muzbry.
