VIC - Flinders Ranges to Alice Springs (starting Melbourne)

I was looking for a tag-along for these dates - but no luck. So, I am thinking of taking the trip anyway.

Possible route - Flinders Ranges, Leigh Creek, Marree, Lake Eyre, Lake Eyre South, Coward Springs, Coober Pedy, Uluru & or Alice Springs.
