VIC - Pyrenees 2010

Hi All,

Planning for this years Pyrenees trip Fri Sat and Sun on the weekend FOLLOWING the Melbourne Cup Weekend.

Camping at Glenpatrick Reserve in the lovely Pyrenees Ranges, just north of Elmhurst between Ararat and Avoca on the Pyrenees Highway.

I will be going up a few weekends to do some track clearing and I may also, given sufficient demand, knock up another GPS challenge. Will see if we can get a prize equivalent to last years extravaganza.

Anyway, we will be there, and a few more campers will make it another memorable moment.

UPDATE*** There will be a quiz around the campfire on ther Saturday evening so bring along your best thinking hats. The GPS comp has been revised and will be an interesting game, planned for the Saturday afteer we arrive back in camp, it will be fun for all.
Still waiting on the nod from David for the major prize, but a few bottles of Red will be a handy backdrop.
Also have a non-4WD friend along so looking for spare seats for Barby siblings and assorted friends/partners etc. All up our party will be seven! And also a first timer too who is keen as mustard!
I CANT WAIT!!

I live about 100 km from there and actually do a bit of work in the Elmhurst Ararat area but have never been camping or driving in the Pyrenees. What sort of activites are planned (or not planned but happen?) Roughtly how many people? Heading to Kimberly's in July but will be back in Sept so looking for something to do by then
