Suggest the Telegherry River area (Eastern side of the Forest - not as busy as the Allyn River area I think). There are a couple of spots to camp with facilities but also other places so I was told by the ranger - no facilites though. Perhaps our friends from N'castle could make some good suggestions. There are some good drives and places to see. About 2.5hrs N. of Sydney. If there is enough interest I will post more details.
