ExplorOz Pyrenees (Vic) November Get-together - post Melbourne Cup
Victorian Pyrenees, 10th and 11th November 2007, starting the evening of the 9th.
The Pyrenees is a lovely area between Avoca, and Ararat, West of Ballarat. There are good vineyards and wineries in the area with some fine quality products.

The area has some great 4by tracks over the area with some rocky shelves, some testing ones there too. There are some not so testing ones though. Lovely through tree views and an easy to get to location.

We have a campsite in mind, yet to be confirmed, but is a relatively level one, with shelter and well cleared. Campsite location and details will be available at a later date.
The Pyrenees are central to Western Victoria, but relatively easy to get to from NSW and SA, but all are welcome. With the fellowship of Exploroz, a very worthwhile trip.
There will be EO signs and arrows from Thursday afternoon at Sandy Lane and in Elmhurst pointing to Glenpatrick Recreation Reserve 9 kms away. Give a call on UHF 14 if you are getting close.
