Well, here I am mid- September at
Quondong Point near
Broome, and I
haven't blogged to ExplorOz since, ummm,
well, a long time.
I've done the
Gibb River Road - and have the stubby holder to prove it
-and have an unexpurgated version of my adventures that needs cutting
back before submitting here. I'll do it. Soon.
I arrived at
Quondong Point ( absolute paradise) on the day before the
Federal Elections, and will be here at least another week yet. Yes, I
managed to get my vote in.
This week's excitement is that I picked up my Spot2 Device, shipped
from Exploroz, during one of my trips to
Broome, and today it's
working !
Thus will give me peace of mind if I decide to go off the beaten track
in the
Pilbara.
Otherwise, all is
well at our beachside paradise. Busta the dog has
lost weight running up
the beach and over the rocks looking for crabs,
and I'm pretty relaxed, living rent & fuel free for a few weeks.
