We were so thankful that we'd got through the night without getting any rain. To wake up in such a lovely
camp was the perfect ending to a wonderful adventurous trip.
Meeting all those ExplorOz Members face to face - for some, putting faces to names and voices after many years of communicating by phone, email,
forum and
blogs was quite a strange experience and now it was all about to end as we headed back to our normal life all too soon.
As it was Sunday, we weren't able to find many cafes open for a decent coffee or snack despite trying the
Hyden bakery (closed),
Corrigin Cafe (closed), even
Corrigin pub (closed until 11am) but at
York the town was buzzing but we didn't stop - it was too crowded due to the Cyclo Sportif event. Cyclists everywhere and cafes overflowing with people. So we keep on until we made it
home.
My final blog will follow with a summary of some of our favourite trip photos after I've sorted through the DSLR ones. Thanks for reading our
blogs, feel free to ask any questions.
