Isn't she cute!
Our youngest daughter Chardae turned 4 years old yesterday. We are so proud of her.
We had a lovely cuddly morning unwrapping presents, talking to Nanna on the phone, and having a special breakfast but because her birthday fell on a work day during school holidays she was bundled off to daycare early and her sister Leah bundled off to a kids holiday sports program, and both David and I had to work.
Talking to Nanna
We had baked cupcakes together the day before so these were taken to daycare to share with her friends. Daycare is so good - they turned the whole day into a party for her. They sang and danced, and played games and the
cook (who prepares proper meals including a hot lunch daily) prepared extra party food so she had a great day.
Plenty of smiles for the birthday girl
We picked her up at 5.30pm and went off to Portofino's for dinner and as a treat she was allowed to play her Nintendo DS in bed (2 new games for her birthday). She slept in today being a public holiday.

We are having a party tomorrow so will upload more photos to this blog after that.
