We departed fresh and ready for an easy 314km highway drive into
Sydney via the Great Western Highway and M2 to stay with family in Cromer on the Northern Beaches, where we arrived just after 1pm in the afternoon. So - not exactly our usual ExplorOz trip, but the fastest way we could manage as a family to get from one side of the continent to the other.
We stayed in
Sydney with family to celebrate Christmas and then left on Boxing Day, where the next part of this trip journal resumes on the ferry to
Devonport, Tasmania.
