There is only two ways to KI, by Water or Air
Back in March of this year, Fiona and I spent nine memorable days over on
Kangaroo Island and enjoyed our stay that much, that we are heading back for another two weeks in October, as even in that time we did not see all that we had hoped to see. Those that have been there before will testify to the beauty first hand and those that have not,
well this is just a taste of what you can expect to see over there. The only thing that I would advise is do not rush the place, as there is just so much to see and do over on
Kangaroo Island, and as a bare minimum, I would not stay any fewer than seven days to do the Island any justice. Rather than do the usual big write up, I will do it another way – with photos, as like they say, a photo is worth a thousand words.
Kangaroo Island is a very family friendly destination and do not let the price of the ferry deter you, as the cost is not substituted in any way by our local State Government. Another tip for anyone intending to head over there is to make sure that you purchase the “
Kangaroo Island Tour Pass” from the National Parks and Wildlife before you start visiting the many attractions in the National Parks, as this pass will save you serious money and is valid for 12 months.
