Today turned out fine and pleasant as if on order for a sightseeing day. First stop was south
Sleepy Bay where the view from the
lookout was great. We couldn't walk to the south end, but the north end was enough.

We then continued down the road to
Cape Tourville where there is a great walking track set up for easy walking. The first half is even OK for Wheel Chairs. This is a great idea because a lot of the great areas for viewing can only be accessed by fit walkers. I walked
the loop and also made the short diversion up to the
Lighthouse. The track is one of the best I have seen and the part using raised walkway over the
cliff edge was great and helped give good
views all the way to
Wineglass bay and Lemon Bight.

After leaving
Cape Tourville we headed to the car park for the walks to the south just to see where it was. The car park was almost full as the day was great and a lot of people had taken the opportunity to walk to Winglass Bay. Getting out of the car park was a challenge as a local had decided to sit in the middle of the road and just watch the people pass by. See the photo. After a while he/she decided to move off and the traffic flow resumed.

On the way back out we stopped at
Honeymoon Bay. Its a great spot with picnic facilities and a
nice beach for swimming. Even though the day was cool there were some brave souls in swimming.

Next stop was further north at the
Lookout over Friendly Beaches. About halfway in there is a
fork in the road, we took the
fork to the left signposted Friendly Beaches. The road in was a bit corrugated in
places but overall was good. The view from the
lookout is worth the diversion on the way in. Continuing down to the
camping area we found it to be a great place, each
camp site set up as a
clearing in the coastal scrub and a number of
toilets spread out along the length of the
camping area. If we had known this was there we wouldn't have stayed at the River and Rocks
Camp Area as this one was much better although more remote.
On the way back out we ventured along the road that forked to the right and it finishes at Private Property but there is a walking track to Saltwater Lagoon. We did come across a Wombat sunning on the road and seemed in no hurry to move.
