Derwent Bridge to New Norfolk

Todays trip was from our camp at Lake St Clair near Derwent Bridge to New Norfolk, via "The Wall", Tarraleah, Ouse and Hamilton.
The Wall was remarkable, the wood carvings on the wall and the other items on display are very lifelike, you almost want to touch the items like clothing to feel the material. There was a rope Block and Tackle carved from wood and you couldn't tell the difference from real rope by just looking. Unfortunately you can't take pictures due to copyright issues.
The next stop was the old Hydro town of Tarraleah after passing the 2 power stations, one using the water from the Derwent, the other from the dams to the North, all feeding into the Nive River. The town is a short distance off the main Road but is well worth the visit. The Houses, hotel and other accommodation were purchased from the Hydro Scheme when the power stations were complete and are now a thriving place to stop and or stay. We had a pleasant coffee break for morning tea. There is a lookout where you can look down on the power stations we had just passed in the valley below.
The other towns you pass through have restored houses and buildings with food and other items for sale.
