Today we travelled from Copeton Waters to Inverell, the road was bitumen all the way and the only thing to watch out for was the causeway’s or floodway’s as some were quite deep and steep. The country we travelled through varied from trees to grass and crop.
On arrival in Inverell we made our way to the Fossickers Rest Caravan Park. The park has lots of trees and we were assigned a site with shade from the west and a large concrete pad for the van that also included the area under the awning. The facilities are not new but are clean and serve the purpose
well. The manager keeps a number of chooks and some Guinea Fowl that roam the park and keep the bugs down. The benefits of this are fresh chook eggs.
Well shadded site
The dog was hoping the chooks would come within lead length
