The Department of Defence has amended the exclusion times for Amber Zones 1 and 2 as follow -;
CHANGES TO EXCLUSION PERIODS- DEFENCE PERIODIC USE AMBER ZONES 1 AND 2
AMBER ZONE 1
The exclusion period for non-Defence users for the
Woomera Prohibited Area Defence Periodic Use Amber Zone 1 which was to have been activated between 14 August - 3 September 2016 will be cancelled.
AMBER ZONE 2
• The exclusion period for non-Defence users for the
Woomera Prohibited Area Defence Periodic Use Amber Zone 2 which was to have been activated between 14 - 27 August 2016 will be cancelled.
EXCLUSION PERIODS THAT REMAIN
• The exclusion periods that remain for the 2016 - 17 financial year are:
Amber Zone – South-Eastern Corner (Defence Periodic Use Amber Zone 1)
• 30 October - 10 December 2016
• 26 February - 25 March 2017
• 14 May - 30 June 2017
Amber Zone - Centre-line Corridor (Defence Periodic Use Amber Zone 2)
NB. This includes a section of the Anne Beadell Highway.
