Hi Dean.
I bought my NP with an ARB steel bar & attached winch.
Still going strong.
Cheers.

Thanks vince
The only problem with the ARB ones is they dont have the holes for the fog lights nor the holes for the headlight washers which come standard on my exceed.
I have this morning found a place in
melbourne that have them with the fog lights but not the headlight washers so maybe that will have to do, the company is MCC.
Cheers
Dean

I bought a deluxe bar & as you point out there is no provision for washers for h/lamps. The deluxe bar is expensive but
well worth the fitment. Made the NP look special. I bought a deluxe bar for the new NT V-rx. Western 4x4 in Hoppers supplied & fitted
mine. Robert

Sorry about that. It's ARB winch & air bag compatable.

If you want a "real" BullBar try the Tuff range.
They will make them winch compatible for you

Either get steel or plastic.
I've been most happy with our Smart Bar, these are the bars fitted to the front of NSW Police Pajeros and NSW Rural ambulances. Have a mate who has bowled countless roos over on the western Downs in Qld and rates they
well in front of his previous bars. I've been happy with the results of the 2-3 I've hit. I don't have a winch, but they are winch compatible.
What I like about them is the much lower weight, and energy absorbing crumple/bounce back effect which is probably more important on monocoque Pajeros.
Google Smart Bar, they are based in SA. ARB will sell and fit them, though my local
shop grumbled I should be buying his ARB steel bar.

Haven't had a strike yet (thankfully) but I purchased an ex police NT Paj, and it came with the smart bar and 9000lb Warn winch fitted. Also had a pair of IPF 140's, plus fog lights, and has tapped inserts in it, to bolt on brackets for ariels etc.
X2 for the Smart Bar
