Thinking about fitting a set of airbags to our on road coromal excel 526 single axle bunk van so we can take it up Teewah beach, we were there at Christmas and noticed that getting on and off
the beach would be our only issue, and then not sure how much of an issue as there was a lot of road and offloads vans throughout the camping grounds.
Just looking for advice as to whether or not a set of air bags would be worth it for the extra height, have been quoted 1340 to have them fitted including a shock. also we will be towing it with a discovery and the diffs are only about 50mm higher from the ground then the
water tank hanging below the van.
Also looking for any advice on taking a road van up
the beach. There was a lot of softroaders up there so am thinking that it shouldn't be too much of a problem, we would be going with a few others so would have some help available if we got stuck.
Cheers
James
