I have got a 3 inch Taipan exhaust fitted to my Patrol 3.0 litre CRD ute
I also got a more power chip at the same time and I am very happy with it
I have just returned from a 10000 klm trip to
Cape York and it went
well
Has made it a better vehicle to drive

Hi Flanno
just an additional thought, if you replace the exhaust, point it out the side instead of straight out the back - makes it easier if you want to fit mudflaps /
rock tamers etc.
Keep the shiny side up!!

When I fitted the 1HD-FT to my Landcruiser I had a 3" exhaust fitted and as a previous poster said exit out the side. This is if you have a ute. Not legal or practical for a wagon. The exhaust guy I used said fit the largest practical pipe for any turbo charged engine. Some people think you improve the performance by having some back pressure which is a load of rubbish.
