when i bought my troopy i got my wife to ring the insurance company to give a list of the accesories . i told my wife to mention it was an ex police car just in case any problems . person from insurance company said we do not insure ex police cars . my wife said why not . ins comp said ex police cars have high performance computer chips in them . wife said its only a troopy diesel 4wd not a highway pursuit vehicle . ins comp said does it go over 100kms an hour . i told my wife to say probably down hill with a big gust of wind . LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL .TRUE STORY .

yes i did after my wife spoke to someone higher up in the ins comp office . a friend of mine told me that the police remove the upgraded computer chips(highway pursuit vehicles) before they sell them to the public anyway .

The only "chips" you'll ever find in a Troopy diesel are the chips dropped on the floor after a greasy take away meal :-)
