Hello, can anyone tell us what the Jayco Expanda front beds are like for size? do you lay sideways therefore climbing over someone to get out? Are they big/small etc

Hi Kime,
you lay across the bed. Sizes are normally like a double bed.
Here is a link to the
Jayco Expanda Series

Hi Kime,
As mentioned the front section of the expanda is a double bed, the rear is a queensize and the answer to the question will you need to climb over someone to get out is yes. We have an expanda and am very happy with it.
Cheers Kerry

Hi there,
The standard foam mattress which comes with the expanda van are really hard! The first night we bought ours
home I couldnt even sleep on it, so we had one made at slumberworld in warrnambool. (innerspring, with Dacron topping to expel heat as the 3 males in my family are hot sleepers!). Our kids sleep in the front bed together and they dont have a problem, the back is a queen but not a full queen yrt bigger then a double. Climbing over someone is a pain, particually if you need the
toilet in the middle of the night, but the bed idea is such a space saver I wouldnt look back!
Goodluck
Viv.
