If you really stuck, NZ had a far more liberal Jap import policy than Australia (we weren't trying to protect a local overpriced motor industry) so it may be worth trying suppliers over there as many buses came in for school buses, motor home conversions, site transport etc.

Have you tried an Isuzu truck dealership/spare parts section?
I have an imported Isuzu Elf truck (grey import) and all the spares I needed so far I've got straight from Isuzu. I haven't had to buy a relay though? I found the Isuzu staff very helpful to assist me given the truck was never sold new in Australia.
Cheers

I use Burpengary dealership in Queensland.
I would have thought if you had the part number off the old relay you could simply go in and purchase one without even saying what it is off.
In my case the engine in the Elf is exactly the same as in some other models imported new into Australia - so parts are available. The staff at the dealership were helpful and told me that.
Maybe your bus engine/electrics are also exactly the same as some other truck models as well.
Hope it works out
Cheers

Don Kyatt is now a nationwide group, they are also Terain Taimer 4wd parts.

Been independent parts suppliers since they were the Bedford people.

Of course if you are going to own a proper truck or buss you need to make aquantance with the truck and bus / diesel spares type shops.

Lots of the parts of truks and busses are generic or very long standing brand specific parts used model after model often for decades.

On QLD we have QLD diesel spares, Gleemans and any number of others.

Look in the yellow pages on on the net...or just look at the mudflaps arround your area..the popular names will be on them.

Lots of these places will ship, freight or post stuff.....the country boys depend on them.

cheers
