I am thinking of replacing
the springs and shockers on my 2011 Landcruiser 200 series. I have found that it tends to point down at the front . I thought this may be due to the bull bar and winch?
The problem I have is the vehicle only just gets into the garage at the moment due to the height at the rear of the vehicle.
I was wondering whether I could place a tougher spring at the rear ( no extra height), a slightly higher spring than the original at the front ( therefore level the car)?
I was going to replace existing shockers with Koni.
Also, the cruiser has KDSS. I was wondering whether there was issues assisted with wheel alignment or the vehicle leaning one way or the other after the lift.
Any comments would be appreciated.
Regards
Nick

Nick - you may also benefit from looking at Landcruiser owners
forum, I have attached the site address below but you may need to manually type address details in goggle search bar. The LCool
site search tool should get you to the relevant
suspension article.
I upgraded my 200 TTD with Lovells springs and shocks all round plus airbags 70,000 k's back and cannot complain with ride and handling, although certainly a harder ride when no load. [better
suspension was imperative as I tow heavy big van].
You will likely get approx 45mm lift front and rear so garage may be a bigger problem.

Nick,
Had the ARB done on our 200, 50mm lift, 200 kg springs in the rear. (Already had rear air bags, just had spaces fitted for the lift)
No problems with having KDSS, as long as they are reset/bled correctly after the lift.
A front wheel alignment is a must after the lift. (ARB at
Broome did our lift and forgot to do the alignment, long story but one front tyre was ruined, they did replace it, but caused a lot of trouble for us with our holiday) There are 3 adjustments and one will reach its limit.
I think it was the camber, which is not a real problem as it gets very close, but you can get a upgraded camper adjustment fitted.
