Hi.
I am in the market for a single drawer approx. dimensions 1000mm L x 500mm W x 350mm H .
I have looked at many sites but don't know which is best value.
Any recommendations?
Thanks
Ian

Have a look at Jim Bests offerings. Lots of happy customers on EO.

Have a bit of a look at the dolium/boab drawer site, you may find something to suit your needs.
I have a set of 6 x boxes & top slide fitted to my 79, and found it to be a very tough unit up the CSR last year.
Would suggest though to fit aluminium panels in the bottom framework to stop any 'sag' in the plastic boxes when you put heavy items in.
Cheers

Thanks for the recommendations.

The reality is that at over $2000 for a set of drawers you'd have a go at making your own and put up with home made quality. We've put a product on the market that is professionally built with computer driven machinery that is affordable.

There are more options than just one Jim......was simply letting the OP he had the opportunity to knock one up himself as i did. "putting up with home made quality" as you put it has served me very well and i made exactly what i needed.

nothing better than making something for yourself and getting exactly what you need.

Mark, when I said "home made quality" I meant no insult to people who have built their own. But even the most skilled carpenter cannot build a unit as precisely as computer driven machinery.

I have sold a lot of units to chippies. Once they add up the cost of components and the time to build, it works out cheaper to buy one of ours.

Jim.
some people might not want to pay for something that has been put together by computer driven machinery.

times are getting tougher and many cant afford the costs of some manufactured drawers.
mine cost me around the $300 mark and suit me to a t. as i said before, just giving the OP another option.
