Well, it's been 3 very long years since we sold the fourby. That said I couldn't complain about having a beautiful and healthy baby girl come our way to cause it! Unfortunately, 3 kids in baby seats in the back of a dual cab MK Triton was never going to happen. We sold the Triton and went family
sedan. I still feel sick! But after 3 years of hiding in the shadows and living vicariously through everybody else's adventures , I'm back in the saddle again and picking up our new MN Triton this afternoon! The kids are now big enough to fit comfortably in the vehicle and esp. the boys are as keen as mustard to go bush. SWMBO is supportive, and frankly after working my date off for the past 3 years, I am beside myself. I know this is a " Can't get to sleep email" but I thought I might share it!!! Anyway, we're off to
Diamond Head (Crowdy Bay NP) for a few days and I think I might just find a few tracks at the back of Port to get busy on.
Hope you're all keeping
well, and I look forward to again participating rather than just reading.
Cheers,
Benno

Good on you Benno am sure you will have lots of family adventures in your Triton.
There no better way than to get out there, take the family camping etc, making sure they put up there own tents as they get old enough etc.
These things really build sense of responsibility and confidence in them and ultimately in ones self.

Good one Benno,
I have had the horrible feeling of going from 4x4 to family station wagon. The heavens must have been telling us something, because a week later it was drowned in the
Katherine floods. The replacement lasted 2 years when we then bought our first Prado.
I can remember the sleepless night before picking up the Prado, and again 2 nights ago before getting the 79 series. Oh what joy. I have wanted to get back to a "ute" since selling the rodeo in 1999.
Mate, have an awesome time with the family, ENJOY...
Safe travels and look forward to hearing how you went.
regards,
