Hi everyone,
I currently have the Auslig 1:250,000 maps of Australia and I was wondering if it would be better to up grade these to the new Napmap digital 250k maps. Do they provide better information than the Auslig ones or are they much of the same.
Regards,

Hi Iceman,
Please confirm the existence of 'Napmap' digital. The Natmap Digital 2008 I have and can find are the Auslig 250K and are one and the same.

Hi Longtooth,
I was looking in the EO
Shop and the Geoscience maps Natmap Digital Maps 2008 - 250k Scale is what I was referring to.
If they are the same maps but under a different name then my original ones will still be ok. I was hoping they would be better quality.

Hello
Same series of maps...some may however have been updated since you purchased your set. You dont say what year/edition you have.
You can download individual map sheets for free from the Geoscience Australia website (via MapConnect). I think there is also listing of maps and edition dates on the website somewhere so you could selectively download map sheets you think need updating in your collection.
Cheers
Greg
