Has anyone knowledge of this product? It is a waterproofing compound by Paskal Australia Pty Ltd and has a blend of waxes and anti-mould/mildew agents dissolved in 86% V/V hydrocarbons liquid...... (Phew! Bloody hell).
Thinking of using it on my camper tent which is Australian made canvas, with 15 oz roof, 12 oz walls and is three years old.

Regards,

Hey bbuzz,
I purchased 2lts up here in Darwin for $45 from an upholsterer. I did see on Google 10ltrs for $132 that's after I purchased the 2ltrs. It's not cheap.
Currently doing a spray test on some canvas I have and so far, it has dried clear. I will give it the water and dust test after 24 hours and keep you posted.

I am a long way from Darwin!
But, yes, I will also check out the canvas guys and the upholsterers.

I would only need 2 litres.

Thanks

G'day Noel,

I wanted to reproof my swag and after a bit of reading around decided on "Bradproof" which is now eco friendly. no nasty smells and has done the job, instructions also mention that you can wash the canvas to remove any mildew etc and then proof.
Can't remember what sizes it comes in but I went the 5 litre as this will do my tent when the time comes.

Cheers Walter

G'day to you Walter,
Have now given the canvas the water and dust test. Water ponded on the untreated half and ran off completely on the treated half. Covered it in dust and brushed off, no discolouring on untreated half, but slight dust colour on treated half, due to the wax I'd say.
All up I would say, 100% for waterproofing, but could become dirty over time.
Would I buy it? Yeah probably.

Cheers,

Noel K.
