I would agree with the previous poster, ring the park headquarters there regarding what is open. We looked at heading to the
Grampians at
Easter and there were only 2 campgrounds open then, and decided to head elsewhere. There was extensive damage from the floods and I believe they are only now opening up sections as many roads and tracks were simply washed away.
However, we have "done" the
Grampians a few years ago, and had a great time at Jimmy's Creek
Campground. They did have
toilets there at that stage, and it was fairly quiet as it's a little away from most of the major attractions, but to us this was a bonus!! We were able to have an open fire as
well. There was also plenty of birdlife/wildlife, make sure you shut your food containers up overnight as the possums can get hungry!!
