Long Weekend Fly Time

This time of year all the rednecks invade our favorite bush camp sites. They don't bury cover their waste and the weekend after hundreds of baby blowflies will be buzzing about.

here's a good trick to get rid of them (the flies that is!!).

1) put up a small tent -just the inner bit will do. If it has two openings zip one up.
2) Cook a sausage and some onion (by now you should have lots of flies buzzing about
3) Place the food on a plate, some newspaper or a political advert. Then put it in tent.
4) Leave one side of the tent opened until it fills with flies. Then zip it up.
5) Then hit them high and low.

Repeats steps 4+5 until your campsite is free of these young blowies. Open tent and pour out the blowies, shovel them onto the fire so as not to feed the ants.

I did this at Meroo and had no blowies for months, As you have broken the breeding cycle.
