I almost missed out on getting the wheels into some snow this year , but last nights forecast for a cold snap came true and dumped a fair bit on the hills around the Lake Mountain Area
I shot off early to near Mt Margret and it was still snowing heavily.

There is only a couple of inches on the ground at Mt Margret
junction but its enough for the kids to have a play.
Still snowing this afternoon , but I suspect it will be just mush by sunday.
Note - There is a logging operation at
the junction and signs say no entry to it, but the logging is only on the south side and the operation is not working (probably to cold) and I suspect won't be till monday at least.
The snow started about 1km before the logging coup when I was there at altitude 900M.

By the way , we were back out again later and the snow began to fall and it continued into a freezing Icy blast.
