Hi, we will be travelling from the Atherton Tablelands to Hughenden next week & looking to go the Kennedy Development road from The Lynd to Hughenden. Have travelled the other way via Charters Towers several times but looking for a change & to go to Porcupine Gorge. I know that it is mainly unsealed but was wondering if anyone had any up to date info on the condition of the road? Towing an on road pop top with a 4wd. Have travelled unsealed roads many times so that is not an issue - mainly concerned about the level of corrugations,
Willy

Travelled the road a few weeks back, it's in pretty good condition
No corrugations to worry about. Quite a bit of road works/upgrading
going on.

As Sthe saint said.

We travelled this road some time back, but since then there has been no rain so it should be good. It usually is in the dry

In the Wet it is still good but the mud is that slippery snotty stuff, thats all. no bogholes.

Cheers

Massive improvement to the road since a major upgrade last year.
Ah! 'The Lynd'. A good place to blink and miss.
