Gday to all, I am looking at getting into camping again after about 30 years, the last time was when I was a Scout. I am very keen on getting a Swag and I have looked at the types on sale on eBay and the like and I have seen some not so good swag's. I have looked at them all and the Oz Wild Swag King Single Oz Wild Deluxe seems to be the one I like the most it looks very nice and it has a 70mm foam mattress and it has 3 support poles. I would be very greatful for any
feedback from anyone who has used the above unit.
Well thats all for now thank you for your time and help with is question, it is greatly appreciated. Richard

Hi Richard
The first thing is to forget eBay.
Now for the most important thing. I am personally not aware of the Oz Wild swags, but before you buy there is one most important thing........
IT MUST BE AUSTRALIAN MADE.
The first thing that you will feel and see from an imported swag is the quality on the canvas and this is the most important factor for the life of your sway. The cheaper imported swags canvas is like paper thin and will not wear like a good Australian made, heavy duty swag.
Ours are closer to 20 years old and have been through sand storms, heavy rain and everything the outback can dish out and they are still as good as the day that they were new.
Think wisely, as it is a lifetime investment.
Cheers
Stephen

I just received my NEW swag from "Tusker Canvas" in W.A, king single - all australian looks to be a great swag & definately the right price - (Delivered to country Vic in a week). I chose this one as it has no supports but does have mesh screen head end. Off next week on the Murray crays cannot wait to give the swag a run.

Don't know the swag Richard but the specs and inclusions look good. Headroom and width are important to
check against your body size. This model claims above average height so it should be suitable for most. Ebay price is $50 less than their website list price as you probably saw. Egg
shell matress, 15oz canvas, bag, 'raincoat? - all looks good, at a fair price. My personal preference is for more mesh for hot nights. There are plenty of other good quality swags around and you still might be lucky to pick one up at discount stocktake sales depending on where you are. Happy swagging.
