Howdy gang.
i hope to pick your brains a bit if i may folks.
I own a FJ60 cruiser ( good old bus ) & looking to mayb get some more lift. I presently have lift leaf springs ( recently reset ) & BFG 33 inch tyres. So, ive got a bit of lift so far but id like an extra 2/3 inches or so, without spending too much??
( hence keep
the springs I've got & not update to 'liftier' springs )
Initially i was thinking of just whacking in some body blocks.... but i hear alot that it causes a few creaks, groans & stresses on certain points etc.
Would extendable shackles b the go? what else can i maybo do?
thanks in advance, cheers

If you buy the blocks from a reputable place, it would be the best option. Not alot to do to fit them, and weight stays low,
suspension and steering stay in spec-no alignments or caster problems with too much lift!
There are extandable shackles aswell, but the blocks will be easiest way of getting 50mm.

extended, jointed shackles are the go for leaf springs - better articulation and I think more lift...checkout 4WDMonthly FWDOTY edition for details - think it was listed as a product winner...
