Does anyone have a suggestion re a tow vehicle for a 5th wheeler with a smaller turning circle than the Navara or D50? Looked at the Triton twin cab but the shape prevents the fitting of a 5th wheeler hitch :(.
Lots of Torque >=400nm and preferable some room behind the front seats???

Seen a few small Iveco trays used for towing fivers. The ones that are usually a delivery van size, they make with a tray on the back.

G'day Gr11zzly,
Sorry I missed your post before but I don't think you would be happy with 400nm pulling a 5th wheeler, I bought a Navara STX 550 (4dr heaps of room in the back) and a 28.5ft 5th wheeler (2,940kg).
I almost bought the 440nm STX as it was almost impossible to get my hands on a 550 even at $20K more. The point is when I picked up the 5th wheeler and towed it
home from Wyong (NSW central coast) to south of
Wollongong (200km trip) I was so relieved that I didn't buy the 440nm version - I think 600 would be better than the 550 I've got even with its V6 turbo diesel and a 7 speed auto-:) But 400nm wow what a nightmare that would be I can assure you that's not lots of torque, it's just not going to do it!
Cheers
