Planning doing Bloomfied Track in four days time...how's it going?
Anyone done the Coburg recently, we wonder about the road, expect to cover it in a day from
Kakadu area...have all our permits (late July). What are the camping conditions like and can we buy any grog and provsions there?

Hi Noelene and Peter,
We were at Bloomfield late last month. The causeway was washed away during the floods about 6 months ago and has not been repaired. You can get to the Bloomfield river from the South from
Cape Tribulation or from the North from the
Cooktown road but can't get acrross the river.
We went form
Cape Tribulation and the track was in good conditions and creek crossings no problem.
