Does anyone know where replacement door trims can be found for an 80 series (standard) wagon. Would actually love to get some prefab alloy plate ones.

Google and eBay are not revealing any promising leads.

Some of the fibre board in my original trims is damaged beyond repair so a simple re-trim is not going to be an option.......they may or may not have got wet in some North Qld river crossings :)

HI djm67
Why not try the 4x4 dismantlers (wreckers) you most likely find the original trims.
Just Google wreckers

Depending on the alloy against the steel of the door they should make a nice "battery" after a few creek crossings.... just something to be aware of.

Have you tried genuine?

toyodiy lists them in a parts catalog for around $200 each

Got a link to that?

I looked them up on that site and the ones I found were listed at $531 each for the front doors, $444 each for the rear doors

I have no idea what currency that the prices are in, but it should be able to give some guide

www.autoparts.com.au

It's a wreckers community site that they post their requirements on and communicate who has what, but you can post your needs on as a member of the general public.

Amazing what it finds. Post what you want and you'll no doubt get an email or two within 24 hours or so.
