Hi Everyone, just letting you know since the sale of the Kooringal Trader, the previous owner of that barge service, Steve Wallace, has started up a fairly new barge service to
Moreton Island called the Amity Trader.

This service replaces the Kooringal trader... Good news for Us, the ExplorOz community. It's the same staff, but a longer and wider barge. Prices are pretty much the same. This barge is 20 metres long and 6 metres wide (approx ) and can carry 6 - 8 vehicles and can load up to 21 tonnes.

Moreton Island and would like a quicker trip ferry wise, and want to explore around Stradbroke Island as you will have some time, then take the "Big Red Cat" to Stradbroke Island, then the "Amity Trader" to help support and keep this service running...
