Hi All,

I,m know this subject has been done to death but my search in archives has not led me to an answer.

I own a 100 series 2004 TD cruiser and have recently blown a head light. Rather than replaceing it I,m onsidering upgradeing the lighting and would appreciate any recommendations you may have for this type of 4x4.

Thx

Hi Noel,

HID it mate.

Pretty sure that model 100 series has dual headlight globes?
Seperate globes for hi/low beam.

Whack a HID kit in the high beam and just upgrade the low beam globes to some good quality halogen globes like Philips Xtreme Power or Narva +30 or Blue Power.

That way you stay semi legal and wont blind others or piss them off with your low beam, like people do with HID low beams.

I have dealt with this fella here many times, he knows his stuff and has helped me out every time. Kits are the best quality i have found and he knows his stuff. Was told about him on another forum, wher he has received great feedback.
HID KITS

Cheers

Unfortunately is completely illegal.

You can only legally change to HID if you have self levelling lights with washers

Even my new VW with manually adjustable, from the drivers seat headlights cant legally be done.
Can get a new headlight kit for $2500 for it to get them.

Havent seen any HID bulbs that fit as they ar H$ and are right angle fittings.

I put Phillips 50% more in mine and they are OK.

Can put the HID in spotties if you have them.

Part of the reason they are illegal is because the foacl length of the globe is different and cant be focused properly with the existing reflectors.

Yes I know lots do it, your call.
