I just took advantage of David's birthday offer in the current Newsletter to renew my membership .....

'Site owner and developer, David Martin is turning 44 next week, so what better reason for us to offer you 44% discount off some of our best-selling services'

Thank you David and I can't wait for you to turn 100.

Ah that is when membership will cost only $100 per year instead of whatever else we decide to charge in the next 60 years. Based on today's economics and rising costs we might be charging something like $500 per year and that might be considered cheap.

Anyway thanks for the note - Sunday is the big day. Well actually at 44 there is not much excitement just another year to tick off.

Thanks again
David

Barry,

Nah think I may have a day off. I am just finishing my post Busselton Ironman 70.3 lay off and have drunk more booze and eaten more rubbish in the last 3 weeks than I have in 3 years. But I have to start to be good again as the World CHampionships in Las Vegas are only 15 weeks away and the training program starts for real on the 6 June.

So Sunday will be a day off I reckon. Monday is another thing - better do a gentle 10km run before breakfast.

Have a good weekend.
David.

FORTY FOUR ......... you are kidding, that is soooo old
so glad you dont have the age requirement as part of the "sign-up" hahaha..
Anyway it is exciting, just to know that you (i/we) have made it this far and are still able to sit in front of this stupid computer and actually see the screen and still be able to type and hold and drink a beer at the age of "around" 40 ........
And dont forget, at forty, you may hope to live until 80 ???? you are only HALFWAY there !!!!!
Cheers David, have a good one
Joe

Me too - I was going to renew the day before but didn't get around to it so it proves the worth of the old adage - "Never do today what you can put off till tomorrow".
