Hi,
I am looking to replace one of my N70EXL Exide Extreme Batteries. I am down to $203 at this stage of my search. Anyone have any ideas where a better price might be. ?
Regards Barry

Try Alco Batteries at Wingfield. I have an account with them, and haven't been able to get close anywhere else. I don't know if they sell Exide, but they will have the equivalent or better.

I paid about $168 last week for same from Challenge Batteries, but that was in Osborne Park in WA.
But it should give you an idea how much they're available for.

Barry, from previous experience you'll struggle to beat
PETER & RICK'S AUTO WORKSHOP at Glynde. Cheers

Good stuff Barry, in addition to a good price you'll find Peter, Rick and
young Mitch are good guys. Cheers

We haven't purchased one for at least a year but bought my last two from Don Kyatt- they usually give club discount if you're a member of something and are always
well priced. Otherwise Supercheap often stock them too but not always for a discount price.
I think $203 sounds pretty good personally.

Barry,
I replaced all my battery in my cars, trucks and machines with Cat batteries and find you can't get better value for money. The battery I bought for my patrol is a 880cca and cost me $113 plus gst. You can get them from any Caterpillar dealer. Cheers Mick

Cel-tic Batteries at Salisbury, next to Bridgestone, near Holden.
Be cheaky and ask for Holden employee discount.

Hi All,
Following advice from
forum members, I purchased my Exide Extreme N70EXL battery from Peter and Rick's Auto Workshops at Glyne in
Adelaide. My earlier quotes for same battery were $220 and $203.
Mine cost me $163. I can't believe how much I saved, simply by spending 5 mins on the
forum. I suggest that other members
check out this business, that advertise OLD FASHION SERVICE, and THEY REALLY DO PROVIDE IT.
THANKS ALL, BARRY
